Local Link Limerick to provide 6 new evening services across Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The extended timetables are to the daily high frequency services which will provide 6 extra services with a total of 15 trips on weekends from Friday and Saturday to Sunday evenings.  

These include Newcastle West – Carrigkerry – Glin – Loughill – Foynes – Shanagolden – Askeaton – Rathkeale – Ardagh – Newcastle West and Kilmallock – Tobernea – Effin – Ardpatrick – Ballyorgan – Kilfinane – Kilmallock – Charleville.

 After the initial announcement from the NTA in May that 50 new services providing evening and night time services in rural areas had been given the green light.  Local Link Limerick submitted an application for proposal to deliver evening and night-time in six existing service areas.

 Local Link Limerick have 176 services spread out throughout County Limerick and have just launched a further 6 new day services including:-

  • Granagh – Dooradoyle – Arthurs Quay – Weekly, Thursday
  • Banogue – Dooradoyle – Arthurs Quay – Weekly, Thursday
  • Fedamore – Charleville – Weekly, Saturday
  • Banogue – Charleville – Weekly, Saturday
  • Adare – Patrickswell – Dooradoyle – Bi-weekly, Monday
  • Askeaton to Glin – Monthly, Thursday
